Child special
A large meadow in the centre of our campsite, located at near Tours, welcomes a wide variety of games for children. The youngest will find spring riders, a slide, and a climbing frame. The giant inflatable structure and the 2 trampolines will keep your children entertained all day long.
The «Vhole ball» net will allow you to play volleyball and badminton, and invent all sorts of funny rules.
The kids' club welcomes your little ones aged 6 to 10, twice a week from 10 am to 12 pm in July and August. They'll be able to enjoy arts and crafts, treasure hunts, skill games, or board games... A paid activity may be offered once a week by external professionals.
Indoor games
A room dedicated to indoor games in our Camping in Indre-et-loire, allows you to rediscover the atmosphere of pub games with table football, pinball, billiards, darts and a table tennis table. Board games and a library are available for quiet moments.
Animations
Every Sunday in July and August at 6:00 PM, come and share a drink of friendship with us under the chestnut trees (July 14th to August 25th) at Camping les Granges, near Tours. This will be an opportunity to get to know each other.
Concert dinner evenings every Thursday night, for solo travellers or groups. Each week, we feature different artists. It's the perfect opportunity to enjoy this musical moment over a drink or a meal with friends!
For the more athletic, the Flower Les Granges campsite, located in the heart of the Loire Valley châteaux, offers in partnership with professionals rentals Canoe Departing from Tours, they will take you to the launch point and pick you up at the end of your descent. Several routes are available, from a few hours to a full day. For multi-day hikes, our campsite is a natural stop on your route: call us!
This descent of the Loire, a wild river classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site, will allow you to observe its bird colonies that populate the sandbanks. Its very wild islands will welcome you for a picnic or a stopover. Upon arrival, it is the majestic Langeais bridge that welcomes you and invites you to extend the walk with a visit to its castle.
For fishermen, The H10 circuit at the port of Luynes – 500m from the Granges campsite – at the mouth of the Cher is recommended by the fishing federation for enjoying the banks of the Loire. Gevrioux lake is also a 10-minute drive from the campsite.
A pétanque court adjoining the campsite at the gates of the village of Luynes will allow the whole family to have fun.
Enjoy too Bike rides To explore the surrounding area, from the banks of the Loire to the troglodyte villages typical of the Touraine countryside, the vineyards on the hillsides, or the forests that populate the region. Routes are offered to connect Tours (10km) or Langeais (16km) in complete peace. We offer a bicycle rental service on site. (see prices)
On foot, explore the hiking trails. Ranging from 5 to 20 km, the routes from the Fédération Française de Randonnée will guide you through our beautiful commune of Luynes, which is part of the UNESCO World Heritage site for its Loire riverbanks, its château, its Roman aqueduct, and its numerous manor houses. Located on the «chemin de la Saint-Martin» (St. Martin's Way), our campsite also welcomes hikers on the Chemin de l’Été de la Saint-Martin de Tours (Summer Way of St. Martin of Tours) and Chinon, among others.
