The castles of the Loire in the surroundings

Camping in the heart of the castles of  Loire in Indre and Loire

Located at the crossroads of the Loire Valley castles, Camping Les Granges is ideally located. Langeais, Villandry and Azay le Rideau just to name a few, are less than half an hour from the campsite. By going a bit further down on the road, you can also enjoy Amboise, Chenonceau, Chaumont sur Loire....

Wines of the Loire near the campsite

The Loire wine road also passes behind the campsite, you can taste prestigious appellations such as Vouvray, Saint Nicolas de Bourgueuil, Chinon, Saumur, Champigny... A range of local wines will be offered at the campsite's grocery store or in the bar.

A gourmet break

For the true gourmands, Cadeau et Chocolat in Chambray-les-Tours (20 minutes from our campsite) invites you to discover the secrets of making its artisanal chocolate through various activities. You can also discover the reception area open from Monday to Saturday from 10am to 7.30pm.

Camping on the banks of the Loire

500m from the campsite you can access the banks of the Loire, a mythical and wild river classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Fishing, canoeing, walking or contemplation, whatever your practice, this place will not leave you indifferent by the richness of its flora and fauna.

Campsite near Tours

"Le Vieux Tours" 12 km away, will offer you a maze of medieval streets with its half-timbered houses, basilicas, abbeys, towers... This old district will also offer you a wide range of restaurants and bars for the day or until late at night!
One hour from the campsite, you can enjoy an escape to the two major touristic sites in the region : The Beauval zoo and the Futuroscope.
